While working with Techsion, I helped design and build the Junior Legends website — a playful, conversion-focused experience that brings the venue’s energy, safety, and imagination online. The site enables parents to discover activities, explore pricing, and complete bookings and waivers with minimal friction. On top of the web experience, I implemented a Laravel-based POS for staff to sell tickets and birthday packages on-site, keeping online and offline sales fully in sync.
My Contributions
- Custom WordPress build: Theme setup, performance-minded templates, reusable blocks/components.
- Booking flow & forms: Integrated ticket/party booking with date/session selection and online waiver to reduce on-site wait times.
- Laravel POS (in-venue): Built POS for walk-in sales; unified products/pricing, order capture, and receipts.
- QR ticketing & access: Auto-generate QR codes for both WordPress and POS orders; scanner validation at the entrance to open the door and mark tickets as redeemed.
- System integration: Synced WordPress ↔ Laravel via REST hooks/webhooks for orders, redemptions, and reports.
- Information architecture: Clear paths to Play Park (ages 3–12) and Toddler Zone (up to 3), with pricing, hours, FAQs, and CTAs.
- UX & UI implementation: Visually playful layout, typography, and imagery aligning with safety and fun; persistent “Book Now” CTAs.
- Content & SEO basics: Structured around high-intent local queries (e.g., kids play park Karachi, birthday venue Karachi).
- Lead capture & support: Newsletter signup and contact forms for Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad.
- Performance & QA: Mobile responsiveness, accessibility checks, caching, and on-page metadata.
Key Features
- Engaging home & “Our Facility” sections highlighting Inflatables, Lego Land, Jungle Gym, Trampoline, Ninja Course, Zipline, and more.
- Seamless booking (tickets, groups/family sessions) with waiver surfaced throughout the funnel.
- Laravel POS for staff: walk-in ticketing, party packages, and unified reporting.
- QR-based access control: Each order (web or POS) issues a QR; scanning at the Legend entrance opens the door and redeems the ticket in real time.
- Clear pricing & hours by day, plus location and contact details.
- Newsletter integration for offers, events, and birthday packages.
- FAQ prompts to reduce support load.
Outcomes
- Faster entry & shorter lines via QR redemptions and online waivers.
- Unified online/offline sales with accurate inventory and reconciliation.
- Reduced fraud & errors with single-scan validation and automatic redemption.
- A vibrant, mobile-first site that encourages exploration and drives bookings.
- Improved search visibility through location-aware content and metadata.
- Stronger direct engagement via newsletter and contact touchpoints.
